Why you should have a Maternity Photoshoot
Dear Mama, Congratulations on your pregnancy !! If you are reading this, you must be expecting a little bab and that is soooo exciting !
Maybe you are wondering if you should have a Maternity photoshoot ? Maybe you wonder if having pgrenancy photos is a good idea or if you prefer to invest only in a newborn session ?
Well let me tell you why it’s definitely a great idea to have a maternity photoshoot !
Your are glowing !
You might not think it as your body is changing and maybe you struggle to recognise yourself.
Even if you feel uncomfortable with all these hormones, trust me you are absolutely glowing Mama and you will love having photos of you at this age and time of your life. Celebrate your body and what it’s doing for you .
Your kid will want to see these photos
Trust me, when your little toddler will grow up and start asking questions, they will love to see photos of your bump ! My little Lily is currently in the phase where she understands she was in my tummy before and “she was cute” as she says ! haha
It’s only 9 months or less
It might feel like an eternity when you are pregnant, especially if you have a difficult pregnancy. Towards the end, these last few months are quite hard when you are so heavy that you need help to get out of the sofa ! Or when your feet are so swollen that you need to wear compression socks ( I have been there !)
Well forget about all this and just book it because the photographer will capture your beauty as it is (while you probbably don’t see it anymore ). You are only pregnant for 9 months or very often less than that. It will fly by and soon you will have forgotten everything about it and how you felt and looked.
So having these precious memories of you will be priceless.
Freeze the bond with your partner and older kids
If you already have other children, it’s a great opportunity to freeze in time the bond and essence of your family.
These photos will be loved for years and you will all look back at them maybe in an heirloom album. It will be the opportunity to hit the pause button and have a special moment all together to celebrate the arrival of your new little one.
You only regret the photos you didn’t take
