Bonjour !

Meet Claire

Your Surrey & London photographer

Hi, I am Claire, mum to my little Lily, Chocolate addict, Cheese lover and Baby cuddler!

My work has taken me from the suburb of Paris, my place of birth, to London, which has been my new home since 2014. I still have a strong french accent though ( which I don’t like !).

I love art and anything manual like DIY ! When I can, I will do some painting, some krafting with Lily, some gardening or DIY in our new house.

I have worked in the corporate world for many years, as an engineer, specialised in production. I used to visit chocolate factories, that was the best side of the job! When my Lily was born, my perspective on life changed and I started my own photography business. I am now hustling trying to make it my full time job, because it’s never too late to do what you love.

Why I love taking photos of my Lily and your babies ?

  • Most of our photos are with Dad, not me ! So I want to focus on Mums & babies

  • I want to remember those moments and these feelings

  • They grow too quickly

  • One day, it will be everything that’s left of you for them to look at

I want to give YOU these photos. The ones you will look at, cry at and feel the moment again.

“For the quiet moments, the wild ones, and everything in between”

My Story

Grab a cup of coffee and read…

My little Lily was born, during lockdown, and it was bloody hard, I won’t lie. Becoming a Mum for the first time and being left alone in hospital for 3 days with a crying baby, was a bit traumatising for me.

We could never have our newborn photoshoot, sadly. So I picked up my camera and captured myself all those precious memories of her & us.

Most of us Mums are really busy & sometimes overwhelmed by Motherhood and the arrival of a newborn. It took me nearly 2 years to feel like myself again and I am still struggling with some burn out and post-partum depression. It is truly one of the most difficult job.

In my family, there was very little place to express our emotions, connect all together or just say a simple thing as “I love you”. This makes me sad thinking about it and I think that’s also one of the reason I really love capturing the emotions & connections of other families. Seeing those cute eyes looking at their mum with so much love and holding on to her with their little fingers, because she is just their entire world.

So, let me help you freeze your precious moments, celebrate what your body is capable of doing, and capture all the magic of your baby in your dream session. Don’t live with regrets and book your photoshoot.

Claire. Xx
