6 tips on how to choose the right photographer
Where to start ? Which one to book ? There so many of them ! How do I pick ?
I know the struggle mama, I've been there.
There are so many photographers, which one do you pick ??
Do your research early enough, ideally after your 20 weeks scan.
1/ Check their Google Review
Google reviews don't lie, and it will show you what other families have experienced and if they recommend the photographer or not.
2/ Do you need help with outfit and styling your family ?
A photographer with a Client wardrobe takes away the stress of choosing the right clothes & colours and coordinating your family.
It also saves you money and allow Mums to wear dramatic & gorgeous dresses for the occasion.
3/ What's your budget ?
Do you just want the cheapest one whatever the result, or would you rather invest in quality & someone who will give you a premium experience you will remember?
It’s really down to what you value, is it price or is it the experience and the quality of the result ?
By the way, if you are interested only in finding the cheapest photographer or you just want a couple of photos, we are not the right fit and I would recommend you to find somebody else ! Just being honest here and saving time to both of us.
4/ What kind of sessions are offered?
Which packages do they offer ?
Is it tailored to what you need and what is included in it ?
Are they hidden costs you don't know about ?
How long does a session last?
When will your gallery be ready to view?
5/ What Products are available to buy ?
Is it only digital images or can you buy wall art or print products to best display your photos ? Will the photographer show you samples and guide you on what's best suited for you ?
6/ How will they manage your kids?
Do they have experience & tricks on how to make the session stress free if your kids decide to throw a tantrum ? Do they give tips before & during the session ? Your photoshoot should be relaxed, funny & enjoyable.
Ultimately it's all about the feeling and if you really love the style of a specific photographer.
Follow your instinct and go with the one you trust the most.
Family pictures don't have to be stressful. It should be something you will value & remember forever.
