My 3 go-to poses for a Maternity Photoshoot

Hello Mama,

So you might be pregnant and thinking you are always awkward in front of a camera ? Maybe you never had a photoshoot before and you don’t know what to do with your hands or your legs or simply just how to pose (or if you are even suppose to pose like a model!) ?

Let me help you mama!

First, I don’t expect you to know how to pose or to pose like a model.

I want you to feel comfortable more than anything.

I will guide you, talk to you, chit-chat and I will show you how to pose and what looks “good” for a photo.

I like to demonstrate myself because it’s usually easier than just explain with words.

So here is a little peek into some of my go-to poses which I really love to capture for my pregnant mums. It will capture your best angle to show your beautiful bump and your glow.

Backlit photo next to the window

Backlit means I am shooting facing the source of light.

It is perfect to show a good contrast in Black & White photos and the light kissing your shapes on your portrait.

Seated on a high stool, looking towards the window

First, that is super comfortable for you , and we can easily add your partner behind you or a kid in front of you.

Seated on the floor, legs crossed, holding gypsophila flowers

Right, I LOVE gypsophila flowers and they are definitely my go-to flowers with peonies, for my photoshoots with mums.

This pose looks perfect in both colours or B&W.
