What’s the best age for your baby photoshoot ?
Right I hear you mama. You want some nice beautiful professional photos but you are not sure when is the best time to have a baby photoshoot with your little one ? especially as there is always something going on with them, some baby acne, some scratching on their face, or maybe they are having a growth spurt and their rythme is all over the place ?
Well the short answer is anytime is a good time !
Why? Because they will never be this small again and you want to remember their little features. Those little fingers, their chubby cheeks or thighs, their arms’s rolls, their wiggly feet and their cute little smile looking at you!!
Just blink and you will have a teenager who hates you and don’t want to be seen near you ! hahah okay I exaggerate a bit here but you get the idea !
Is there a particular age that is easier to photograph ?
Yes there are some ages that are easier than others definitely and that will gives us some beautiful photos . But then every baby is different too.
Here are the ages I would recommend to capture by a professional photographer :
Newborn less than 10 days old
They are still so tiny!
Baby flakes are still here, which is super cute to capture.
They love being curled up and wrapped and can sleep for the entire session.
6-9 months old, Sitter session
They are starting to sit.
Chubby thighs, gummy smiles and gorgeous giggles.
They love playing with their hands and feet.
Tummy time is fun and it gives us great portrait with their cute smile.
Wooden toy are great to get their attention for some time and get some close-up photos.
9-10 months old
They start crawling.
They love playing with toys and there is lot of giggle.
Peekaboo is a must.
I love this age, there are a lot of cute faces to capture!
1 year old, their first ever birthday
On the move, they might be walking already or try.
Their personality is really shining now.
Super curious, they will go explore everywhere.
