6 Things to do with your family after your photoshoot
You just had your family photoshoot in South London, and you might wonder what to do after it ?
Is there anything worth doing, any nice restaurants, or any family-friendly activities ?
I got you ! If you have booked a session with me, you will have all these details already in your Welcome guide. continue reading if you haven’t booked your session yet.
1/ Go see the horses
Just down the road from my studio, it’s called Kingsmead Equestrian centre, at the end of kingswood lane. You can see them training on the left end side of the road or you can go visit them in their boxes on the right end side.
2/ Go see the bluebells in the forest
Next to the horses, there is a path leading to the forest there : King’s Wood . It’s absolutely beautiful with lot of big trees and bluebells everywhere ( when it’s the season )
3/ Go for an icecream
The best icecream shop in the area, and it’s simply beautiful too. It’s called The Scoop Company, by the Green in Warlingham. They even have vegan icecreams too. A must visit after your photoshoot with me :)
4/ Go to the pub
There are a few in the area, so I will list them here, depending how far you are willing to go :
The Horseshoe , not far from the green in Warlingham
The Harrow, on Farleigh road
Botley hill farmhouse, on the road towards Limpsfield. Beautiful scenery.
The Fox, in Caterham. You can go for a beautiful walk in Happy Valley just next to it afterwards.
5/ Go to a playground
Again there are several around the house, and we love to test them with my Lily. so here is a little list for you :
Sanderstead recreation ground , not far from the Waitrose. There is a dedicated area for bikes or scooter to ride on. There is a Costa nearby if you want a coffee.
Whyteleafe recreation ground. There is a sandpit for the little ones, a coffee place and you can go for a walk in the forest too.
Cala houses. Just down the road where they are building these new houses on Limpsfield road. It’s not yet opened at the time of me writing this blog post but it should look amazing when it’s ready.
Queen’s park, in Caterham. Really big playground, with sand pit and wooden houses to climb on.
6/ Go to a softplay
The one we love to go to which is very local is Clubhouse in Caterham.
We have only been 1 year in our new house so we are still exploring the area. I will keep updating this list for more ideas :)
