How to look after your photo album ?
You are now the proud owner of a hand-crafted, heirloom album, custom-made just for YOU !
So now to keep your gorgeous new treasure looking fabulous, here are a few simple tips to follow.
Store your album flat
Don’t put anything heavy on your album
Make sure your hands are clean before handling your album
Keep your album safe and dry by storing it away from moisture
Store in moderately cool place with no direct sunlight
The ideal humidity level for storage of your album is between 40 to 50%. Conditions which are too humid may cause waving of the pages.
If your album waves, we recommend to place your album in an area of your home with a better humidity level with a slight weight on top of the book ( be careful to not damage the cover). Allow at least 7 days in proper humidity conditions to reverse the album waving.
Fine art paper
If you ordered my most premium album with the leather cover and deckle edge fine art paper, it will be delivered with acid-free page separators inserted between each page.
These sheets of paper are used in the production process to protect the pages from ink transfer. These separators sheets are not needed for the other types of paper.
It is mandatory to always keep separators in place to ensure long-term protection and prevent ink transfer, even after receiving your album.
