Here’s why I always encourage outdoor family sessions—and why I think you’ll love them too:
1/ The freedom to just be yourselves
Outdoors, there’s no pressure to sit still or smile on cue. Your kids can run, explore, chase bugs, pick flowers—or just hang onto you while taking it all in. And you? You get to relax. There’s no “perfect behaviour” required here… just your real connection, unfolding naturally. I always recommend my clients to have a session outside with 2 years old or more kids, as the studio can be too restrictive for their big feelings.
Some of the most meaningful images come from in-between moments—your toddler running into your arms, your partner brushing hair out of your face, everyone laughing because someone got grass in their shoe. Those are the moments you’ll look back on and feel again.
2/ Natural light makes everything softer
