Ho Ho Ho

The Christmas Mini session booking is now opened !

Here is an overview of my White Theme decor for this year. If you love Christmas spirit like I do, I am sure you will be in love with this set up. It’s simple and minimal, with a few Christmas tree in the background to give the impression of being in Lapland or in a snowy forest outdoor !

There are a few bits for decoration which are perfect for your little one to play with : a white little lantern, some pine cones, some snowflakes hidden in the snow, a little owl hidden on a tree.

The main piece of the decor is obviously the wooden sleigh , ready to take off and see Santa !

Grab the rope and fly away!

I also have a little wooden stool, which is perfect for younger one who can’t walk yet or need a bit of support, it makes some great little photos too.

Finally, a good book to read works wonder for little ones for loves to read , and it gives a little quiet time, perfect to snap some beautiful portraits.

When are Christmas Mini sessions taking place ?

Online booking is now opened for you to grab a slot. There are limited spaces available so be quick.

Sessions will take place over the weekend of 11th and 12th November. This will give us enough time to edit the photos and order any Christmas gifts you would need for grand-parents or family.

Each session will last 20 minutes, with 4 family members maximum, due to restricted space in my studio.

What should my kid wear to the Christmas Mini session ?

Each year I choose a different theme for my Christmas mini session. This year, the theme is White Christmas. When you book a session with me, you will receive a Styling guide alongside your Welcome guide. This will give you tips and recommendations on which colour to wear, what to avoid, and where to shop if you want similar look to what I capture.

If you want your photos to be timeless and still love them in 30 years, then I would recommend to go for either the classic red pyjama, either a neutral colour outfit. It could be for a boy something like a knitted beige jumper with a brown trouser. For a little girl, it could a pretty white dress.

For babies, a simple romper or dungaree within the colour theme (white, beige, cream, brown, light blue) would work perfectly.

Feel free to bring a knitted chunky coat, to give this vibe of hot chocolate next to the fireplace!

Accessories like winter hats or gloves are welcome too, to give the Christmas vibe.

Can my newborn attend the Christmas Mini session ?

This type of session is best suited for babies able to sit unaided already. Or being held by a sibling. This is because the session is very short and only 20 minutes, so there isn’t time to settle a newborn if he/she is unwell or needs a feed.

What happens after the session ?

Around 2 weeks after the session, you will received a link to your gallery featuring your best 20 images. You can then select your 3 favourites included in your package. If you wish to upgrade for more digitals, you have the options to do so with 2 of my collections.

Sessions for 2023 are closed now, but they will come back for 2024 !

With Love, Claire Xx
